The Basics

In this Addiction Solitaire game you have to place the cards in order from Aces to Six from left to right, one row for each suit. The Aces are already at their correct position in the starting game. Cards can only be moved to an open spot if it is the next card in order of the same suit as the card to the left of the open spot. So I Five of Hearts can only be moved to an open spot if the card to the left is the Four of Hearts. So you need to try to prevent open spots from occurring next to a Six (the highest card in this game).

Difficulty

The game offers a nice challenge. Since all cards are open this is more of a challenge than most other solitaire games where the majority of cards are closed. There is no increase in difficulty, but different deals do have a different difficulty. At the start you get a percentage of how many players were able to solve the game (this percentage can be switched off in the settings), which gives a good indication of the difficulty.

Variation

There is not real variation in the game other than the cards being at a different position.

Visually

As with all MobilityWare card games, the cards look simple but very clear. Great for this type of game.

Free vs Paid

Ads do popup between games, but they are not too long, so don't disrupt the game too much.

Is It Any Good?

I give Addiction Solitaire 7 out of 10 stars. Nice game, but why not use a full deck?
